Welcome and a big hello from Juli and Barbie!

When Juli returned from the filming of Outback House, the ABC TV Series in which she and her family were the squatters, she had an idea to share her experiences of life in 1861 and her new awareness of the effects of hardship and isolation on the squatters’ families living far away from their European way of life. From the small seed of an idea came the Outback Revisited on location workshops for artists and creative people with friend Barbie Hooper.

We will whet your appetite for more history, art, culture from these times as well as to create some good times of our own. As you explore the website, you will begin to see why we are so passionate about the place and its history.

Regards
Juli and Barbie
